Jerome County Busted Mugshots
A Jerome County booking photo gets taken at intake, right after an arrest. The record attached to it is brief but useful. It lists the name, the date, the arresting agency, the charge, and current custody status. The Sheriff's Office runs detention through the Jerome County Jail. Its public Zuercher portal splits the data into four reports. Those are Daily Arrests, In Custody, Daily Arraignments, and Active Warrants. Jerome Police Department appears as well, listed among the reporting agencies. Keep that in mind as you read. The agency that made the arrest and the facility holding the person can carry different labels on one entry.
Photos show up in the In Custody report. The Daily Arrests PDF has not displayed images the same way. Each report is a dated snapshot, not a permanent gallery or a case outcome. A name can vanish from a list while the case moves through court on its own schedule.
The 2024 Idaho Crime in Idaho figures are NIBRS reporting counts. They are not jail head counts. They are not booking-photo totals either. That gap matters. Annual arrest statistics, a current custody roster, and a daily booking report will rarely line up with each other.
What Jerome County Busted Records Show
Think of a booking record as an intake snapshot, not a full court file. Fields vary by report. A blank space usually just means that output does not display it. The county's own templates support this field map.
| Field | What it can show |
|---|---|
| Name and age | Name, race, sex, and date of birth or age for identity matching. |
| Arrest date | When the arrest or booking event was recorded, subject to the report window. |
| Held-for agency | Whether the row identifies JCSO, JPD, or another agency connected to the detention event. |
| Charge or reason | The charge, hold, or reason rendered in that report, not a conviction. |
| Bond or hold | A bond amount or hold information when the report provides it. |
| Custody details | Cell block, release date, or hold details in the In Custody layout. |
| Mugshot field | A photo column in the observed In Custody template, but not a promise for every report. |
| Court connection | Arraignment scheduling may appear in the Daily Arraignments report; later filings belong to the court. |
Each of the county's four reports answers a different question. Active Warrants deals with outstanding court process. Daily Arrests covers people booked into the detention center. In Custody is a live head count. Daily Arraignments lists people set for an initial appearance. Before you copy a name from one list into a claim about another custody status, check the date and the purpose of the report it came from.
How to Get Jerome County Busted Records
Need a booking record or photo the public report does not show? File the Jerome County Sheriff public-records form. It includes a Photographs category. It also asks for a specific description of what you want. Responses ordinarily land within 3 to 10 business days. Timing depends on the custodian's review, exemptions, and fee rules. Each photo disc runs $5. Idaho Code §9-338 governs copy and processing fees.

- Identify the person, approximate booking date, held-for agency, and case or booking number if known.
- Describe the exact item, such as the booking photograph associated with a named booking, rather than asking for a broad set of faces.
- Choose email, fax, mail, or pickup as available on the form, and allow the stated business-day response period.
- Review any fee notice and any redaction or withholding explanation before treating the response as complete.
The Sheriff's Office keeps general office hours Monday through Friday, roughly 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Civil and jail front-counter hours sit on separate listings. They may differ. A name can drop off a current report after release or transfer. The agency's own record may still be requestable. No county page commits to a web-retention term for booking photos, so treat online listings as temporary.
Idaho Busted Mugshot Law
Idaho has no enacted statute that specifically requires or bans publication of county booking photographs. There is no confirmed anti-pay-to-remove mugshot law either. HB 620, a booking-photograph bill introduced in 2022, failed. Access instead turns on Idaho public-records law, the record custodian, investigatory limits, court rules, and the facts of each record. The Idaho Public Records Law Manual walks through Title 74, including §74-103 request mechanics and the §74-124 limits on investigatory records.
Public does not mean final. Basic arrest information can sit in the open while a particular photo, juvenile matter, sealed case, victim detail, confidential source, or investigative item stays withheld or redacted.
The Idaho State Police criminal-history page describes expungement requests under Idaho Code §67-3004(10). Qualifying situations include no indictment or information within one year, acquittal on all offenses, or dismissal of all charges. Each path depends on the statute and the application process. The Idaho Clean Slate Act covers shielding for eligible records after five years from completion of sentence, among other conditions. Shielding limits public court access. It does not automatically rewrite every county report, news story, search result, or independent copy floating around.
Fixing an error starts with the custodian of the wrong copy. The county form handles JCSO reports. JPD covers city police records, and the clerk handles court outcomes. Any third-party publisher has its own policy. RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com, and AllInmates each document free correction or removal routes for qualifying situations. Those policies are not government remedies. Once a source page is fixed or pulled, an outdated-result request to a search engine may clear the listing. Be wary of anyone demanding money for guaranteed deletion. The official form, the court process, and the documented free publisher route are safer first steps.
The Idaho Attorney General's public-records guidance supplies the legal context behind the request path. It is framed around public-record access generally, not around any promise that a particular Jerome County photo will be released.
This source image serves as a law-and-records reference, not a booking-photo gallery. It backs up the distinction between a public arrest record, a protected investigative item, and the later correction or sealing process.
Find Jerome County Busted Mugshots
Pick the tool that fits the question. Someone just booked? Check Daily Arrests. Wondering who is held right now? That is the In Custody report. A hearing date lives in Daily Arraignments or Idaho iCourt, a state sentence belongs to IDOC, and federal or immigration questions need their own locators. Starting in the wrong place leads to gaps that look real but are not, especially after a release or transfer.
- Open the official Jerome County Jail Reports & Warrants page and choose the report family that fits the custody state.
- Use the stable Zuercher Reports screen, check the report date and agency, and match more than a name.
- Check Daily Arrests for the current booking view, then In Custody for the current detention snapshot and its observed photo layout.
- Use VINE for custody or court-status notifications and iCourt for the later case record.
- If the row is missing or an older photo is needed, send a precise JCSO records request with the date range and identifying details.
News stories and unofficial indexes are fine for spotting that something happened. They cannot settle the question. Verification comes from the official report and the court record. A matching name alone never gets you there.
Jerome County Busted Mugshot Sources
No single Jerome County source answers every custody question. Start with official reports. Treat secondary sites as discovery aids only. They can be stale, empty, or silent about a particular city. The table below keeps two questions apart: who has a mugshot, and who is actually in custody.
| Channel | Photo? | Status and access |
|---|---|---|
| JCSO In Custody | Observed yes | Official current detention snapshot through the Zuercher Reports screen. |
| JCSO Daily Arrests | Observed no in checked PDF | Official current booking-event report; not a current-custody guarantee. |
| JCSO records request | Requestable | Official fallback for a named booking photo or report; $5 photo disc noted on the form. |
| Idaho iCourt | No | Official case, hearing, filing, and disposition path. |
| IDOC Resident/Client Search | No public profile photo observed | Official state sentence and supervision search, not a county booking roster. |
| VINE / VINELink | No | Official custody and court-status notification service. |
| RecentlyBooked Jerome | Publisher dependent | Unofficial county-local index; it showed no recent results in the reviewed 30-day window. |
| Mugshots.com Jerome | Publisher dependent | Unofficial local page; accuracy and timing require official confirmation. |
| AllInmates Jerome | Publisher dependent | Unofficial local index; no independently verified live result was visible in the research crawl. |
| Arrests.org, BustedNewspaper, Mugshots.zone | Not verified for Jerome | No confirmed Jerome-local page was found; a state index is not proof of county coverage. |
Think of RecentlyBooked as a coverage check, never as proof that no arrest happened. A county-level page can reach Jerome, Eden, Hazelton, or unincorporated areas. It may drop which agency held the person, though. Before trusting anything, line up the name, date, agency, and court case against the official record. For a quick look, the RecentlyBooked Jerome page is the secondary reference to try.
The image shows a third-party local index in context. It is not an official roster, and it adds no photo to the county record path.
Busted and Booked in Jerome County
The official roster route runs through the stable SIRCOMM–Jerome Zuercher Reports interface. It is a report screen rather than a permanent inmate URL. Controls cover report title, report date, and agency. Rows are typically generated around 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time. The county does not promise that hour, though. It also publishes no lag between booking and posting.
| Report or filter | Question it answers | Known fields or limit |
|---|---|---|
| In Custody | Who is listed as currently detained? | Name, race, sex, DOB/age, cell block, arrest date, held-for agency, release date, hold/reason, and an observed Mugshot column. |
| Daily Arrests | Who was arrested and booked in the current report cycle? | Booking and charge details as rendered; the checked PDF showed no photo images. |
| Daily Arraignments | Who is scheduled for an initial court appearance? | Court-scheduling snapshot, not a disposition. |
| Active Warrants | Which outstanding warrant records are in the report? | Name, race, sex, date issued, DOB/age, bond, and charge; no public photo column observed. |
| Agency | Which law-enforcement label is attached? | JRCO and JPD are recognized; agency is not the same as current custody. |
- Open the county report hub and then the Reports screen rather than an old rotating PDF identifier.
- Select In Custody for present detention, Daily Arrests for a booking event, or Daily Arraignments for today’s initial appearance.
- Read the report date and compare age, sex, agency, arrest date, and other fields before treating a name as a match.
- Check the records form if the report is unavailable, a photo is missing, or an older date is needed.
Photos showed up in the current In Custody PDF but not in the Daily Arrests PDF. Rows can vanish or shift. That happens after a release, a transfer, a report lag, a correction, or a template change. No county booking app has been confirmed, so the web portal stays the official route. The Sheriff's Facebook page is official social media. Still, it does not promise daily booking posts or photos.
The portal capture below shows the report interface itself, not a face-filled result. It is the safer way to learn the report controls.
Treat the interface as a starting point for a dated lookup. Save the report date you used. Then confirm any later release or court outcome through the matching official channel.
Busted Last Night in Jerome County
Daily Arrests is the closest thing to an official recent-bookings feed. Jerome County describes it as the report for people arrested and booked into the detention center. The public page never defines the window. There is no midnight cutoff, rolling 24 hours, or exact intake lag. A report generated near 8:00 a.m. can easily miss a booking later that same morning. Call it the current daily report. It is not every arrest in the last 24 hours.
Feed window note. No separate public Jerome County 72-hour, weekly, or multi-day booking blotter exists, and the county does not say how far past reports remain or whether old PDFs are regenerated after corrections.
The Daily Arrests PDF is a one-page, text-oriented output with none of the photo objects found in In Custody. For a picture, check the current In Custody report first, then use the JCSO form for a named record. Older bookings work best when you give the Sheriff's Office a start and end date, the person's name, the agency, a case number, and a request for the photograph. Expect possible redactions or an exemption in the response.
Jerome Police Department posts no verified daily arrest blotter. Its Administrative Services page handles requests and notes that police reports normally take three business days. Hazelton and Eden have no verified city feed either. News outlets and third-party indexes run on events and publisher choices, so they cannot stand in for a real feed window.
Idaho Department of Correction Records
The Idaho Department of Correction Resident/Client Search covers people under IDOC authority. That means both incarcerated people and those on probation or parole. It does not reach everyone booked in Jerome County. A person arrested and released locally will not appear just because a county booking photo exists. The public IDOC profile currently shows no resident photo field.
Searching is simple. You can use a last name, first name, or IDOC number. A partial last name needs at least two characters. The IDOC number can be searched by its first three digits. Results may include status, age, sentence details, offense, sentencing county, case number, supervision or release status, and related dates. Updates run daily, though status can shift anytime.
When a state-held record is not online, IDOC's written public-records route takes a precise request. That process fits state sentence or supervision records, not a Jerome County booking photo. Keep the labels straight. County jail means local intake and current detention. IDOC means state custody or supervision. The IDOC search screen shows the state-level fields that matter once a case leaves the county path.
This image is a state-record search interface. It is not a county mugshot source or a photo gallery.
Busted vs Released in Jerome County
Custody status shifts quickly. A person booked this morning may be released by noon, moved to a court hearing, transferred to a state facility, or handed off to federal or immigration authorities before the day ends. Each of those stages calls for a different lookup.
| State | Best record path | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Just arrested and booked | Daily Arrests in Zuercher; request the booking record if absent. | It does not prove current detention or guilt. |
| Currently detained | In Custody report, where photos were observed in the current output. | It does not provide the final disposition. |
| Released or transferred | JCSO records request, VINE, and the court record. | A missing roster row does not erase the booking record. |
| State sentence or supervision | IDOC Resident/Client Search. | IDOC is not the county booking-photo roster. |
| Federal or immigration custody | BOP or ICE locator when the custody type fits. | Those systems do not confirm a Jerome County booking photo. |
When a name drops off the list, note the report date first. Then consider the likely explanations. A release, a transfer to another agency, a posting lag, a sealed record, or a change in how the report was filed can all explain a row that vanished.
After a Jerome County Bust
What happens after booking? Booking is the jail's intake step. That is where a person is processed into custody. An arraignment or initial appearance follows. It is an early court date where the judge may take up release conditions. Bond is money or another condition the court sets in exchange for release. The disposition is the eventual outcome of the case. The county's Daily Arraignments report shows who is scheduled for an initial appearance. It says nothing about how a case later resolved, whether by dismissal, plea, trial, or sentencing.
- Booking
- Administrative intake after an arrest, including identity and charge fields.
- Arraignment
- An initial court appearance or scheduled hearing after booking.
- Bond
- A court-set amount or condition connected to release.
- Disposition
- The later court result, not the booking charge.
- Expungement or shielding
- Legal relief that can limit access to a qualifying record under the applicable process.
Court records tell the rest. For anything beyond the booking itself, go to the court file rather than the jail roster.
Booking charges and court records can differ. Match them with the case number and the later docket entries. The booking record shows what was listed at intake. The court disposition is what ultimately controls the outcome of the case.
Federal and Immigration Custody
Zuercher only covers the county jail. For federal custody, turn to the Bureau of Prisons locator, which reaches inmates held from 1982 forward. A search can return a name, register number, age, race, sex, release information, and facility. No mugshot is published there, and someone absent from BOP may simply sit in a different system.
For immigration custody, the ICE Online Detainee Locator handles current detainees and recent releases. You will need an exact A-number plus country of birth, or an exact name, country of birth, and date of birth. No public ICE detainer list tied to Jerome County was confirmed. Local charges and warrants reveal nothing about immigration status.
The U.S. Marshals Service generally keeps federal prisoner locations and photos out of public view, with no national locator comparable to Zuercher or BOP. These distinctions matter after a county transfer. Someone missing locally is not necessarily free.
When Jerome County Busted Photos Appear
Zuercher's current rows are typically generated around 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time. The county makes no promise about how quickly a booking reaches the site. A person arrested after the reporting cycle may show up in a later Daily Arrests report or the next In Custody snapshot. Absence from a same-day PDF proves nothing about whether a booking occurred.
When timing matters, save the report date and note the arresting agency. Then file a written JCSO request. The 3 to 10 business-day window on the form describes records responses, not online posting speed.
Jerome County Arrest Statistics
Idaho's 2024 NIBRS report credits JPD with 263 arrests. JCSO posted 285. Together, that is 548. The report splits each figure into adult and juvenile counts. These are reporting numbers, not a tally of faces on the current jail roster or booking photos taken.
Keep that in mind when you compare a yearly figure with a daily report. Agency reporting, jail intake, release records, transfers, and court files each answer a different question.
Why Jerome County Reports Differ
Jerome County's system is a report interface, not a fixed inmate page. The stable Reports screen works. A direct public inmate route returned a not-found error. Report identifiers can rotate over time, too. The In Custody output carries photo objects while the same day's Daily Arrests output does not.
Design choices, publication decisions, template changes, or timing can explain such gaps. Rely on the stable county link rather than a saved UUID. Read every PDF as a dated snapshot.
Is There a Jerome County Booking App?
No Jerome-specific booking app exists on the sheriff, jail, report, or social pages. A general Idaho Sheriff Connect listing does not prove local participation. The official digital route is still the Zuercher web portal, supplemented by the Sheriff's selective Facebook posts.
Use VINE for custody notifications. Skip any unverified app. A private service with a similar name deserves no trust just because the county lacks an official app.
Jerome County Arraignment Timing
Daily Arraignments is the report that bridges booking and the courtroom. It lists people set for an initial appearance that day. It cannot tell you what the judge ordered. It cannot say how a case ended. Schedules shift often. A row on that list is a schedule entry, nothing more.
For actual case records, search the Idaho iCourt portal with Smart Search and Search Hearings. Ask the Jerome County clerk if the portal comes up short. Sealed and exempt matters will not display like open cases. The court-search interface below leads to case records, not mugshots.
Match the name against the county, case number, date, and arresting agency. Common names are everywhere. Never tie a similar name to a booking photo without more corroborating detail.
Missing Juvenile or Sealed Records
Not every Jerome County arrest record is public. Idaho's 2024 crime report splits adult and juvenile arrests, and the State Police criminal-history database leaves out juvenile histories unless the person was adjudicated as an adult. Court searches also skip sealed or exempt matters under court rules.
A missing entry does not mean nothing happened. Custodians can withhold investigatory files, victim details, confidential sources, or anything that might affect an active proceeding.
Jerome County Disposition Check
To see how a case ended, use iCourt's party or case search. Check Search Hearings for upcoming dates. The Jerome County court page lists two locations: the courthouse at 300 North Lincoln Avenue and the Judicial Complex at 233 West Main Street. Call the clerk at 208-644-2714 or the court at 208-644-2600. A clerk request can pull a file the public portal does not show.
A disposition is the court's final result. It might be a dismissal, a reduced charge, a plea, a trial verdict, or a sentence. The booking entry stays a booking record, so describe each document in its own time frame and custody context.
Jerome County VINE Alerts
Jerome County runs its alerts through VINE. The county's VINE page connects you to VINELink, the VINELink app, and a free anonymous line at 1-866-984-6343. Once you sign up, notices can reach you by phone, email, text, web, or app. That holds whenever the custody or court record behind them allows it.
Know what VINE is, though. It tracks custody and court status, not booking photos. A notification only tells you that someone's status changed. It works best beside the dated county report itself. The official Jerome County VINE page walks through the sign-up route and its limits.
Busted Mugshots by Jerome City
Jerome County's three incorporated cities all funnel arrests into the same county detention system, though their police departments and record-keeping differ. City-level pages keep those local details visible without pretending there is a separate roster or photo gallery for each town:
- Jerome Busted Mugshots: population 12,349 in the April 1, 2020 Census count; JPD polices the city, while booked arrestees appear in the county reports.
- Hazelton Busted Mugshots: population 803; the county plan describes JCSO law-enforcement service, and no separate city arrest feed was found.
- Eden Busted Mugshots: population 393; JCSO provides or contracts law-enforcement service, and county reports are the visible booking path.
A city tag on a report shows which agency made the arrest. The county jail tag shows where the detention record lives. City news stories can point you somewhere useful. Still, they are no substitute for the county roster, the records unit, or the court docket.
